abc's nick schifrin has the latest from eastern libya. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, rob. good morning, peggy. i think we're seeing in libya is the end of the momentum that we've seen for the last three weeks for the opposition. first in the town of zawiyah, 30 miles from tripoli, there are huge crackdowns by forces loyal to gadhafi. there are reports of tanks crushing cars in the city and people in the city say dozens if not hundreds have been killed. and then in the east, that's where we are, that's where the opposition is based, there's been enough firepower from fighter jets and from the air as well as from mercenaries on the ground to stop this move, stop the move of the opposition rebels from the east toward tripoli, the capital in the west. the fear is that if gadhafi's able to take control of the west, it really does split the country in half. if that happens, there's real questions as to what the obama administration will decide today and decide in the next few days. this is looking less like some of the facebook and t
